Citizenship is a religious reading and societal applications

The workshop addressed the concept of citizenship and what it means: that all people in one nation are equal in all rights and duties, regardless of their beliefs, religions, and races. The concept of citizenship is one of the controversial concepts that has taken up a large part of controversy and discussion in the modern era, due to the implications it relates to. Theorizing, rooting, applying, practicing and the role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, which contributed to supporting the concept of citizenship throughout its history through various efforts, which emphasize the concept of citizenship and its importance in supporting coexistence among all, spreading world peace and achieving coexistence by correcting some of the misconceptions that led to terrorism. Violence and lack of positive integration into some human societies, which Al-Azhar attaches special importance to, stemming from its global role and mission in establishing societal peace among all nations and peoples.
