- The Department of Pharmacy Practice was created - at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University - with the start of the application of the Bachelor of Pharmacy program credit hours system in 2014. The department was under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dean of the College.

- Dr. Moetaza Mahmoud Hassab Soliman was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in 2016.

- Two assistant lecturers were appointed in the Department of Pharmacy Practice according to the announcement system in 2018. In addition, 3 demonstrators were appointed in the department from graduates of the College of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy Program) in the same year.

- Dr. Noha Osama Mansour was appointed as a lecturer in the department in 2019 according to the announcement system.

- Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shams was appointed as a professor in the department in 2020, and he was appointed head of the department in the same year.

- The name of the department has been changed to "Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice Department" in 2021.
|
- The department staff kept progressing so that by August 2025, the number of teaching staff became five members including 1 professor, 2 assistant professors, and 2 lecturers. In addition, the department had 14 assistant staff including 7 demonstrators and 7 assistant lecturers.
