The Economic and Administrative Sciences Research Council at the Academy of Scientific Research announces the holding of a workshop entitled “A Priorities for Supporting the Capabilities of the Egyptian Economy in Confronting Crises (from the Corona Crisis to the Russian-Ukrainian War)” ,  on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at ten o’clock in the morning in the main conference hall On the third floor of the academy.
This workshop stems from the council’s role to participate with a neutral scientific vision in the economic field in the national dialogue to which His Excellency the President of the Republic was invited. New developments through the Russian-Ukrainian war, which contributed greatly to the negative impact on foreign exchange returns, and the consequent devaluation of the Egyptian pound and its repercussions on production costs for producers on the one hand and the rise in prices for consumers on the other hand.
Consequently, this reflected negatively on the life of the Egyptian citizen, despite the state taking many measures to confront the current crisis and reduce its impact. However, it is very important to secure Egypt from the repercussions of the crises within the framework of the President’s call for national dialogue to determine priorities for supporting the capabilities of the Egyptian economy in the face of international and regional crises. The accelerated process will contribute to achieving the sustainability of the success of the economic reform program for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen, who is the goal of reform.
The topics of the workshop revolve around:-
Achieving stability in the macro economy
Raising the efficiency of the economic management of Egypt's resources
