Goals
Research objectives
The Central Laboratory provides state-of-the-art scientific equipment and technologies for conducting experiments and analyses necessary for postgraduate students, faculty members, and researchers in various research sectors. The laboratory also aims to encourage participation in various announced research projects, whether within the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the university's postgraduate studies and research sector, or internationally. The laboratory represents the university's contribution to these projects, thus increasing its competitiveness for securing projects at both the national and international levels.
Educational Objectives:
This is achieved through training courses on the theoretical and scientific principles of different equipment, as well as the scientific and research fields to which the laboratory's equipment can contribute, thereby opening new horizons for scientific research. The laboratory is also available to undergraduate students to familiarize themselves with the equipment and analytical methods, and to receive training on the latest technologies.
Service Objectives:
This involves providing consultations and technical support to local community sectors, as well as conducting studies on the environmental impact of projects, particularly studies monitoring pollution levels in environmental elements such as water, air, and soil, including heavy metals, pesticides, radiation, and microbial contamination.
