The Pharmaceutics department is concerned with: 1- Development of new formulations of medicines in various fields of treatment. 2- Developing new ways away from the traditional methods of delivering medicine to the organ to be treated. 3- Study of the new preparations in terms of stability and physical and chemical properties to determine their effectiveness. 4- A study evaluating the medicines used to treat some common and endemic diseases in Egypt, such as liver and kidney medicines in terms of their effectiveness, presenting new formulations that are free from side effects and maximizing their therapeutic efficacy, through the ongoing projects in the department that contribute to the completion of much research that serve the environment Especially patients with liver and kidney failure. 5- The department aims at constructive and continuous cooperation with pharmaceutical companies to present new developments in the field of medicine and evaluate them and work to solve the problems facing these companies, whether in production or evaluation. 6- Formulation and evaluation of nanoscale systems to improve the therapeutic efficacy and bioavailability of drugs extracted from natural (non-synthetic) plants to reduce the side effects common with synthetic drugs. 7- Evaluating drug delivery systems through clinical studies, which contributes to studying the therapeutic efficacy of these systems and identifying their side effects. |
