PharmD graduate students' initiative to raise awareness among outpatients about safe fasting during the holy month of Ramadan
On Thursday, February 12, 2026, before the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, and may you all be well every year,
Within the framework of cooperation between the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program in Clinical Pharmacy for postgraduate students at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Specialized Internal Medicine Hospital, Mansoura University,
and under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Manal Eid, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Khaled Bashir, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Yousra El-Far, Program Director, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sally El-Shaer, Training Coordinator for the program, the program students conducted awareness sessions for outpatients on safe fasting and the safe use of medications during the blessed month of Ramadan. This was under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hazem Hakim, Hospital Director, Dr. Soheila Mohamed Alaa, Pharmacy Director, and Dr. Salwa El-Ashmawy, Outpatient Clinics Supervisor, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sayed Hatata, Head of Internal Medicine Departments, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Yakout, Coordinator PharmD Training
