الرئيس الشرفي للملتقى العلمى الثالث للمناعة والطب التجديدي
With great pride and honor, the Professional Master’s Program in Immunology and Regenerative Medicine – Facupty of Pharmacy- Mansoura University announces that Professor Mohamed Ghoneim, pioneer of kidney surgery and transplantation in the Middle East, and founder of the Urology and Nephrology Center at Mansoura University, will serve as the Honorary President of the 3rd Immunology and Regenerative Medicine Symposium.Professor Mohamed Ghoneim is a world-renowned medical figure and one of the greatest surgeons in the field of kidney surgery and transplantation. He performed the first successful kidney transplant in Egypt in 1976. In 1983, he founded the Urology and Nephrology Center, which became a globally recognized center of excellence accredited by the World Health Organization. The center has provided free medical care to millions of patients and has become a hub for training doctors and researchers from around the world.Known for his humility and humanity, Prof. Ghoneim declined wealth and private practice to dedicate his life to serving people, offering a unique model of a devoted physician and scientist. He has published over 300 scientific papers in international journals, authored about 47 books and book chapters in both Arabic and English, and supervised pioneering studies in kidney transplantation, urological oncology, and bladder reconstruction. He is currently leading advanced research on the use of stem cells in treating diabetes.Prof. Ghoneim has received numerous prestigious national and international awards, including the State Appreciation and Incentive Awards in Medical Sciences, the Arab Pioneers Prize from the Arab Thought Foundation, the Felix Guyon Medal from the International Society of Urology, the King Faisal International Prize in Medicine, the Mubarak Prize in Medicine, and the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University Award for Best Scientific Production in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for his groundbreaking research on stem cells in diabetes. He has also been awarded honorary doctorates from several European and Arab universities.His honorary presidency of this symposium is a great scientific addition and a source of inspiration for young researchers in Egypt and the Arab world. A salute of respect and admiration to this unique scientific and humanitarian figure, who will always remain a symbol of dedication, knowledge, and generosity.

بكل فخر واعتزاز يعلن برنامج الماجستير المهني في المناعة والطب التجديدي – كلية الصيدلة- جامعة المنصورة أن الأستاذ الدكتور محمد غنيم، رائد جراحة ورائد زراعة الكلي في الشرق الاوسط ومؤسس مركز الكلى والمسالك البولية بجامعة المنصورة، سيكون الرئيس الشرفي للملتقى العلمى الثالث للمناعة والطب التجديدي.الأستاذ الدكتور محمد غنيم قامة طبية عالمية وأحد من أعظم الجراحين في مجال جراحة وزراعة الكلى، وأول من أجرى عملية زرع كلى ناجحة في مصر عام 1976. أسس عام 1983 مركز الكلى والمسالك البولية الذي أصبح مركز تميز عالميًا ومعتمدًا من منظمة الصحة العالمية، وقدم الرعاية المجانية لملايين المرضى، كما أصبح منارة لتدريب الأطباء والباحثين من مختلف دول العالم. عرف الدكتور غنيم بتواضعه وإنسانيته، فرفض الثروات والعيادات الخاصة ليكرّس حياته لتحقيق حلمه في خدمة الناس، مقدّمًا نموذجًا فريدًا للطبيب الإنسان والعالم المخلص. نشر أكثر من ٣٠٠ بحث علمي في المجلات الدولية، أصدر حوالي (47) كتاب تنوعت بين كتب كاملة أو فصول من كتب لدور نشر عربية وعالمية باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، وأشرف على دراسات رائدة في زراعة الكلى، أورام الجهاز البولي، وإعادة بناء المثانة، ويقود حاليًا أبحاثًا متقدمة لاستخدام الخلايا الجذعية في علاج مرضى السكري. حصل على جوائز محلية وعالمية مرموقة من بينها: جائزة الدولة التقديرية والتشجيعية في العلوم الطبية، جائزة الرواد العرب من مؤسسة الفكر العربي، ميدالية "فيليكس غويون" من الجمعية الدولية لجراحة المسالك البولية، منحه الملك فهد بن عبد العزيز جائزة الملك فيصل العالمية، وحصل على جائزه مبارك في مجال الطب، وجائزة الأمير محمد بن فهد للإنتاج العلمي المتميز في ريادة الأعمال والابتكار لأبحاثه في الخلايا الجذعية لعلاج السكري. كما منحته جامعات أوروبية وعربية عدة درجات دكتوراه فخرية.إن رئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد غنيم الشرفية لهذا الملتقى تمثل إضافة علمية،ومصدر إلهام للباحثين الشباب في مصر والعالم العربي.
