The department’s goals stem from the strategic goals of the college and are summarized in the following
Providing the student with ethics and professional values in addition to the scientific knowledge and skills that qualify him to work in various pharmaceutical fields. The department also contributes with the rest of the college departments in preparing a student capable of serving the surrounding community.
Developing curricula to keep pace with modern trends in all fields of pharmaceutical analysis, as well as keeping pace with modern methods of learning such as self-learning.
Creating an atmosphere that helps researchers in creativity and research production by following up on recent scientific periodicals, participating in local and international scientific conferences, holding periodic panel discussions, as well as encouraging researchers to publish international scientific publications.
Contribute effectively to serving the surrounding community by providing specialized scientific consultations in the field of drug analysis for pharmaceutical companies and research centers. As well as by contributing to the activities of the drug analysis unit, where the unit is run by a professor in the department.
