Department Mission:
Spreading basic knowledge of microbiology, microbial genetics, immunology, parasites, biotechnology, pathogenesis and treatment of microbial pathogens among undergraduate students.
Spreading basic knowledge of advanced microbiology, molecular biology, industrial biotechnology, control of sterile pharmaceutical products among post graduate students.
Conducting research on pathogenic bacteria and fungi, immunology related to infection, and production of important pharmaceutical products.
Department vision:
Our vision is to contribute with other departments in production of highly qualified pharmacists that are aware with the relevance of microbiology in microbial infections and in different pharmaceutical fields. Additionally we are looking forward to construct and develop of research programs that help to solve the community infection problems and improving the performance of pharmaceutical companies in quality control and production of pharmaceutical products.
