student
The university student is the focus of the educational process, and the college strives, through its various departments and resources, to prepare him academically and provide him with the experiences and skills that will allow him, after graduation, to compete in the labor market and provide high-quality health services to the community.
Regarding the guidance system and in order to achieve the desired outcomes, the student must adhere to the following:
booklet during the first academic advising meeting and inform their advisor of any changes to their contact information or that of their guardian.
Students are required to attend advising meetings to facilitate the advisor's work and adhere to the registration guidelines, as these have a positive impact on their academic progress.
Students are required to contact their academic advisor during office hours or remote communication channels if they have any inquiries regarding the educational process or university activities.
Students are required to adhere to the Student Code of Ethics when interacting with their academic advisor and to communicate with them at appropriate times.
Students are required to contact the Academic Advising Unit when needed and in case of emergencies through the unit's published communication channels.
Students are required to inform their academic advisor of their absence rate for each course as soon as it is announced. If a problem affects attendance and could lead to academic failure, students can request support from their advisor or the Advising Unit to resolve the issue with the course instructors.
Students are required to provide their academic advisor with their coursework and practical grades as soon as they are announced to facilitate academic follow-up.
Students are required to contact their academic advisor regarding summer registration and to develop a future registration plan that will allow fourth- and fifth-year students with outstanding course loads to graduate.
