The College of Pharmacy receives new students for the academic year 2022/2023

The Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University witnessed a reception for new students at the faculty under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Meligy - Acting President of the University and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumy – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and led by Mrs. Dr. Manal Eid – Dean of the Faculty and Mrs. Prof. Dr. Rasha Barwa - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir - Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hani Qinawy - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Dr. Marwa Salah El-Din - Director of the Pharmacy Program Clinical and Dr. Yousra Mohamed El Far - Director of the Pharm D Program and Director of the Information Technology Unit, and Dr. / Mohamed Sabry Saraya - General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University
 
The ceremony began with the republican peace and verses from the wise Quran, and the welcome punches rolled
 
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi pointed out that the Faculty of Pharmacy has a distinguished position and, thanks to the research efforts of its professors, contributes to scientific progress. His Excellency praised the profession of pharmacy and its importance in society, which appears in the medical field by its overlap with all sectors of the field and considering it a cornerstone as a medical science. His Excellency urged the students To participate in student activities, pointing to its importance as one of the most important pillars and foundations of the university work system that contributes to the development of youth culturally, socially, artistically, scientifically and athletically.
 
Dr. Manal Eid commended the university leaders' keenness to attend the College of Pharmacy and congratulate the students on the new academic year. She added that Mansoura University occupies a distinguished position globally thanks to its leadership's support for all faculties of the university to advance education and scientific research. She stressed the importance of the first academic year for college students, as it is the basic building block for building a true home with complete standards, so all students should focus on working hard and diligently, as the specialization Pharmacy is one of the disciplines that secures a prosperous future for its study, congratulating all students on joining the college, wishing them a prosperous and successful future
 
Dr. Rasha Barouh emphasized that the college administration is always keen on the participation of students in holding receptions and welcoming new students, pointing out that the student is the main element that the college family, including faculty and administrators, works to serve. She also stated that the college’s role is not only to provide educational service to students. Rather, it also contributes to building the student’s personality and giving him all the scientific and practical experiences that qualify him to meet the needs of the labor market efficiently and distinguished by following up that the student is the ambassador of his university and he represents it before other universities, so he must strive to improve the image of the College of Pharmacy and highlight it in an appropriate manner.

Within the framework of the continuous support for talents, encouragement and keenness to develop their capabilities, the ceremony may include singing in Arabic and English for two students from the faculty. The distinguished theatrical team of the Faculty of Pharmacy presented a comedy sketch and some entertainment games.
 
Norhan Hamdino, President of the Student Union at the College, gave a welcoming speech to the new students. The student, Ali Al-Saeed, the family rapporteur of Students for Egypt at the College of Pharmacy, gave a welcome speech and thanked all the families who participated in the organization. coming
They addressed a speech to the new students in which they stressed that the high school stage is completely different from the university stage, which needs self-reliance and responsibility. They also called on students to participate in student activities because they are no less important than attending lectures.
