The Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University witnessed the induction day for new students today, Saturday, October 1, 2023, under the patronage of Ms. Prof. Dr. Manal Eid - Dean of the College, Ms. Prof. Dr. Rasha Barwa - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir - Vice Dean for Studies Affairs. Graduate Studies and Research, Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Qenawy - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Ms. Prof. Dr. Marwa Salah El-Din - Director of the Clinical Pharmacy Program.

The day's activities were opened with a welcome speech to the new students, then the Republican anthem, then the recitation of some verses of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech by the Secretary of the Families Committee and Acting President of the College of Pharmacy Student Union, student/ Ahmed Azmi Halawa, in which he urged students to pay attention and benefit greatly from the various methods of education and activities available at the college.

After that came a speech by Mrs. Prof. Dr. Marwa Salah El-Din - Director of the Clinical Pharmacy Program, in which she welcomed the new students and provided them with information about the program and academic guidance and its importance in the student’s academic and development process.

Followed by a speech by Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Qenawy - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, welcoming the new students and introducing them to the community service and environmental development sector, explaining the cooperative activities between the sector and the students and student activities.

Then there was a speech by Mrs. Prof. Dr. Rasha Barwa - Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, in which she welcomed the new students, explaining the role of the academic advisor in the student’s educational and development process and the role of student activity in developing the student and benefiting from it.

Followed by a speech by Mrs. Prof. Dr. Manal Eid - Dean of the College, welcoming the new students, explaining the educational process in the college and how to benefit from it, and clarifying the various student activities in the college and the college’s role in developing these activities and talents.

Student families in the College of Pharmacy were also represented by (CSU, UTOPIA, PSA, Resala, SFE)

Providing entertainment for new students, represented by (chants, singing, scientific questions, riddles, and entertaining games)

In conclusion, the families explained how to join them and the role of each family in the college.
