Mansoura University reaches the finals of the Youth for Development initiative
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Alaa, Director of the Human Rights Unit at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Coordinator of the Youth for Development Initiative, Dr. Samah Al-Saeed, Deputy Director of the University Performance Development Center and Initiative Coordinator at Mansoura University
Mansoura University participated in the finals of the Youth for Development Initiative, second edition, with two policy papers:
- Improving mechanisms and means of control over basic commodities Under the supervision of Dr. Al-Moatasem Billah Mustafa, lecturer of political economy at the Faculty of Law, Mansoura University.
- And a paper on employing artificial intelligence techniques in the education system for people of determination, under the supervision of Professor Reham Al-Ghoul, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Technology, College of Education.
The national jury consisted of:
1- Engineer/ Khaled Mustafa - Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development
2- Dr. Rami Jalal - Member of the Senate for the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians
3- Prof. Dr. Majed Negm - Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for European Universities and former President of Helwan University
4- Prof. Dr. Noha Makkawi - Dean of the School of International Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo
5- Prof. Dr. Rasha Fahmy - Oncology Consultant and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Salam Oncology Center
The arbitration was also attended by the Supreme Council of Universities
Mr. Dr. Mona Hagras - Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities and General Supervisor of the Council’s Youth for Development Initiative
The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development participated in the event
1- Dr. Mohammed 'alaa
2- Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, head of the Human Rights Unit, and General Supervisor of the Ministry’s Youth for Development Initiative
3- Aisha Ghoneimi - Senior Economist and Executive Director of the Youth for Development Initiative
4- Mr. Muhammad Awad - Policy Analyst
