The faculty of Pharmacy hosts a symposium on “Reproductive Health Messages and Population Concepts”

The faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized an awareness symposium under the title “Reproductive Health Messages and Population Concepts”  on Sunday, November 11, 2024. This came under the patronage of Mr. Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University and Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed  -   Vice President . President of the University for Community Service, Environmental Development and Entrepreneurship Affairs,  Ms. Prof. Dr. Manal Mohamed Eid - Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Ms. Prof. Dr. Amina Al-Nimr  -  Dean of the College of Nursing and under the supervision of Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Ibrahim Qenawi   Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Ms. Prof. Dr. Wafa Fathi Selim - Vice Dean of the College of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the presence of Professor Amal Abdel Gawad  - General Director of the College.

Present were Mrs. Dr. Naglaa Mustafa Al-Sayed - Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Community Health Nursing and Mrs. Dr. Dina Muhammad Ismail - Lecturer in the Department of Women's Health and Obstetrics.

The symposium began with a speech by Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Qenawy, welcoming Mrs. Prof. Dr. Wafa Fathi Selim, Mrs. Dr. Naglaa Mustafa Al-Sayed, Mrs. Dr. Dina Muhammad Ismail, and the gentlemen of the audience.

 The symposium shed light on the following points:

  • Early marriage
  • Endogamy
  • The impact of climate on reproductive health
  •  Healthy lifestyle
  •  Mental health
  • (violence against Woman  - And the forms of violence to which it is exposed (psychological violence -physical violence -Financial violence -sexual violence -Electronic violence
  • female mutilation
