World Hypertension Day activities under the title “The effective role of the pharmacist in cases of the silent killer disease”

Within the framework of the Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University’s interest in maximizing community participation internally and externally, a delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy participated, headed by Professor Dr. Hani Ibrahim Qenawy - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the student / Abdo Muhammad Abdel Salam, Chairman of the Etop Committee (Training and Employment), and the female student. / Nada Mahmoud Ghazi, Vice Chairman of the Committee, attending the activities of World Hypertension Day under the title “The effective role of the pharmacist in cases of the silent killer disease.  On Wednesday, 5/22/2024, at the Al-Hikma Club in Ras El-Bar, which was organized by the Pharmacists Syndicate in Damietta Governorate in cooperation with the Egyptian Society for Hypertension, sponsored by the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industries Company EIPICO, and in the presence of Mr. Dr. Mohamed Mohsen Ibrahim - Professor of Cardiology and President of the Society, and Dr. Suleiman Gharib - Professor of Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and the General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Wafaa Al-Arousi - Professor of Cardiology and Treasurer of the Association, and both Dr. Heba El-Deeb and Dr. Ghada Sayed  -Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Dr. Khaled Al-Najdi Head of the Damietta Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. El-Sayed Abdel-Gawad Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Asim Al-Aqbawi Head of the commercial sector at EIPCO.

Today's activities dealt with everything related to hypertension, the silent killer, its causes, treatment, awareness of its dangers, the latest methods of treatment, and an integrated health, nutritional, and sports program to avoid its risks.

Today's activities ended at three o'clock in the afternoon
