The department aims to provide the graduate with the basic information necessary to participate effectively in the medical care team, and to have the ability and skills to know the mechanisms of action and use of medication
As well as determining the dose and knowing drug interactions, drug kinetics in the body, side effects and toxicity of drugs and chemicals, as well as prevention and treatment of poisoning cases.

To be recognized as a distinguished unit in the field of pharmacology and toxicology, at the national and regional levels, by providing the highest quality of education and practical training for pharmacy students, as well as good planning for conducting distinguished research in the field of developing new drugs to treat various diseases.
