The Department of Pharmacy Practice was created - at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University - with the start of the application of the Bachelor of Pharmacy program with the credit hours system in 2014. The department was under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dean of the College.
Dr. Mutazah Mahmoud Hasib Suleiman was appointed as a teacher in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in 2016.
2 assistant teachers were appointed in the Department of Pharmacy Practice according to the announcement system in 2018. In addition, 3 teaching assistants were appointed in the department from graduates of the College of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy Program) in the same year.
Dr. Noha Osama Anwar Mansour was appointed as a teacher in the department in 2019 according to the announcement system.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Husseini Shams was appointed as a professor in the department in 2020, and he was appointed head of the department in the same year.
The name of the department has been changed to "Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice" in 2021.
New teaching assistants were successively appointed and teaching assistants were promoted to the position of assistant teacher in the department, so that the number of the assisting staff became 12, including 4 assistant teachers and 8 teaching assistants in February 2023. While the number of faculty members became 3, including 1 professor, 1 assistant professor, and 1 teacher.
