I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University.

Measurement and evaluation are fundamental factors upon which mechanisms for continuous improvement and development in various academic aspects, both educational and administrative, depend. Measurement and evaluation processes are of paramount importance in identifying strengths and areas of excellence in order to reinforce and develop them, and in identifying weaknesses and shortcomings in order to correct and improve them.

Measurement and evaluation is a systematic, active, continuous, and comprehensive process. Its importance is evident in ensuring the quality of the educational process through the development and application of effective and objective evaluation methods, improving learning outcomes by measuring the extent to which the educational objectives set for study programs are achieved, developing examination systems and student assessments while adhering to technical reference specifications, and developing and updating curricula by providing the necessary data and statistical information. Measurement and evaluation also supports the decision-making process within the faculty by providing accurate information about the performance of students, faculty members, and study programs, thus contributing to the academic accreditation of various study programs.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy is responsible for developing and diversifying measurement and evaluation tools, designing and implementing various evaluation programs for students and faculty members, analyzing data resulting from measurement and evaluation processes to identify strengths and weaknesses in the educational process, providing necessary recommendations for improving the educational process based on the analysis results, and promoting a culture of measurement and evaluation.

Recognizing this, the Faculty and University established the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy as one of the units within the University's Measurement and Evaluation Center. The unit is located on the fourth floor of the administration building.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy aspires to achieve excellence in measurement and evaluation methods by activating the role of measurement and evaluation based on scientific principles and standards, and by adopting and developing appropriate and effective measurement and evaluation mechanisms and strategies to meet the requirements of continuous improvement and development, thus contributing to raising the profile of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mansoura University.
