The national committees represent a gathering of the elite of scientists in each scientific discipline. The national committees are entrusted with communicating with the international federations corresponding to the specialization of the committee , and represent Egypt in the activities of the International Federation and work to attract the agenda of the activities of the International Federation to Egypt. The national committees also organize local, regional and international scientific conferences, symposia and workshops in their field of specialization, and publish all that is modernized about specialization in the Egyptian scientific community. It also cooperates with the formations of the Academy of Scientific Research in preparing specialized technical studies, as well as providing technical advice in the field of specialization.

The composition includes in its membership, professors, scientists and experts from universities, research centers and bodies specialized in the field of work and activities of the International Federation or the corresponding body of the committee with representation rates of no less than 25% for experts (over 60 years old), 25% for youth (less than 45 years old) and preferably At least one of the members is employed in one of the industries, national institutions, or non-governmental organizations related to the specialization.

It is preferable for the aforementioned formation to include the scholars who are members of the corresponding international federations, the committees or the associations emanating from those federations, as well as taking into account that there is a good representation of all the regions of the Republic.

The application is made through the official website of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and any applications submitted by hand or submitted directly to the President of the Academy will not be considered.

The criteria for selecting members are based on competitiveness in terms of:

• International Publication Standards (Hirch's Laboratories)
• Obtaining state, individual and agency awards
• Obtaining international awards from accredited bodies
• Membership of international associations
• Membership of international scientific societies
• Record of dealing with international bodies
• Consider applying for membership in only one of the announced committees, and any other registration will be canceled after the first registration.
• The Academy takes care to maintain that the formation includes all branches of specialization for each committee (all subspecialties).
• In the case of equal degrees in advanced with another, females, youth representation, and geographical distribution of representation in all governorates of the Republic are taken into consideration.
• The applicant's data can be modified until the end of the registration date.
