Congratulations to the faculty members who won the competitive research projects that won funding from the Research Fund for the year 2022

Prof. Dr. Manal Eid - Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Rasha Barwa - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir - Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Research and Cultural Relations extend their sincere congratulations to the faculty members who have won competitive research projects that were funded by the Research Fund For 2022:

Today, Monday, 8/8/2022, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hafez - Vice President of Mansoura University for Graduate Studies and Research announced the competitive research projects that won funding from the Research Fund for the year 2022 with a total amount of 4,595,405 pounds.

It is worth noting that Mansoura University had previously announced on November 28, 2021 that it would open the door for progress to finance research projects for 2022, with a maximum of EGP 300,000 per proposal, in accordance with the sustainable development goals, Egypt Vision 2030.

 The result of the winning competitive research projects was that the College of Pharmacy obtained three (3) projects, namely:

  •   Prof. Dr. Marwa El-Sebaei Ali - Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology About the research project (Designing a natural cosmetic product with a therapeutic effect as an anti-aging skin by nanotechnology) with a funding amount of 300,000 pounds
  • Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Zaid - Lecturer at the Analytical Chemistry Department about the research project (development of smart photoelectrochemical sensors to detect toxic pesticides in drinking water and environmental water) with a funding amount of 300,000 pounds
  • Dr. Nada Fawzy Ibrahim - Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry, about the research project (The effectiveness of senobiotics consisting of Lactobacillus acidophilus and inulin compared to analogs of peptide analogs of glucagon 1 in rats following a cafeteria diet, highlighting the molecular changes in organs associated with changes in the microorganisms in the intestine) with a funding amount of 178.500 pounds
