The Eleventh Employment Forum at the College of Pharmacy
Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University opened the eleventh employment forum, which is organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University, in cooperation with a number of pharmaceutical companies and with the participation of the Training and Employment Committee (ETOP), on Monday and Tuesday corresponding to March 13 and 14, 2023 AD.
This forum was led by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Meligy - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Manal Mohamed Eid - Dean of the College, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Rasha Fathi Barwa - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Dr. Khaled Bashir Selim - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Mr. Dr. Hani Ibrahim Kenawy - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Magda Nasr - former Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and a group of faculty members and students.
Prof. Dr. Manal Eid emphasized the importance of organizing the employment forum, which is a means of acquaintance between students, graduates and representatives of pharmaceutical companies and factories to achieve direct communication to qualify them to join the labor market.
Prof. Dr. Hani Kenawy added that the organization of the forum came within the framework of the Faculty of Pharmacy's keenness on the future of its students and graduates and its endeavor to provide training and work opportunities for them.
It is worth noting that the forum witnessed a large turnout of college students, recent graduates, and postgraduate students, as the number of attendees reached 2,250 male and female students, and that the forum was organized under the auspices of Norhado Company (main sponsor), Hero Baby Company (main sponsor), Al Abdul Latif Al Tarshoubi Pharmacies, and Khalifa Pharmacies chains. With the participation of Glaxo Company, Bader Pharma Company, Pharco Company, Eppco Company, Medical Professions Company MUP, Hayat Laboratories and Enrich Academy.
Among the fruitful results of the forum is the availability of many training and employment opportunities for students and graduates of the college by preparing cooperation protocols with companies and drug factories participating in the forum and organizing field visits with the aim of linking the knowledge aspect and practical experiences to develop their capabilities and readiness for the career path.
