The Ministers of "Higher Education and Scientific Research", "Health and Population" and the "President of Mansoura University" witness the signing of cooperation protocols between Mansoura Medicine and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia

 
Prof. Dr. / Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Prof. Dr. / Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Mr. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, witnessed today, Tuesday, the signing ceremony of several joint cooperation protocols between Mansoura University and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia Governorate The private education building in the Fifth Settlement.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ayman Ashour appreciated the cooperationThe existing one between the two ministries in the medical field, which reflects the extent of integration and coordination between the two ministries, indicating that the signing of such protocols is an example that should be followed in all Egyptian universities, expressing his aspiration for more fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population.
Dr. added. Ashour said that the interest in signing this protocol comes from the belief of the two ministries in the importance of developing the health system in Egypt and caring for the health of the citizen, pointing out that this comes in light of the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that is in line with the state’s vision to achieve sustainable development 2030, stressing the importance of the role of universities and institutions Higher education contributes to the development process in society.
Dr. confirmed. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, that these protocols, in turn, deepen the integration between the Ministries of Health and Population, and the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through the faculties of (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and nursing) at Mansoura University, in addition to developing the capabilities available in the two ministries in order to improve the public health of citizens, stressing The importance of expanding the holding of more protocols to cover the rest of the governorates of the Republic.
During his speech, the minister pointed out the importance of cooperation between the two ministries in supporting the primary care system in Dakahlia Governorate, by providing medical staff to work in primary care units and centers in the governorate, which number 200 centers and units, pointing to the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the population issue file, which The Ministry of Health is working on it through an integrated strategic plan, to ensure the promotion of reproductive health services, which in turn contribute to preserving the health of the mother and fetus.
For his part, Dr. explained. Sherif Khater that the first protocol was signed between Mansoura University (Center for Studies, Research and Engineering Consultancy), represented by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the College of Engineering, and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia, represented by Dr. Sherif Makin, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia; The cooperation protocol aims for the Center for Studies, Research and Engineering Consultations to provide all engineering and consulting works, including study, design and permanent supervision of the implementation of projects carried out by the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia, whether they are new projects or existing projects under implementation or development, including construction works, repairs, restorations or Studies related to the nature of the soil, foundations, laboratory and field tests, and survey works required for any comprehensive facilities.
The second protocol was also signed between the faculties of the medical sector at Mansoura University (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing), and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia Governorate, and the faculties are represented by Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Manal Ibrahim Eid, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Yasser Lotfi Abdel Nabi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Amina Muhammad Rashad Al-Nimr, Dean of the College of Nursing; The cooperation protocol aims to enhance cooperation in the areas of work in the health sector, by providing public, central and specific hospitals in the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia Governorate with faculty members and their assistants to discuss cases, in addition to education and training programs of common interest and various scientific, practical, educational, cultural and research fields, and the exchange of experiences. To raise the efficiency of health services provided to citizens, and to participate in the preparation of seminars of a scientific and applied nature, conferences, and workshops.
The third protocol was also signed between Mansoura University (university hospitals), represented by Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia Governorate, represented by Dr. Sherif Makin, Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia. The cooperation protocol aims to establish a joint building for the emergency hospital between the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia and Mansoura University.
The signing ceremony of the protocols, from Mansoura University, was witnessed by Dr. Al-Shaarawy Kamal Moussa, Executive Director of Hospitals and Medical Centers, and Dr. Wael Abdel Razek, Head of the Primary Care Sector, and Dr. Ahmed Sultan, head of the therapeutic medicine sector, and d. Nisreen Omar, former dean of the Faculty of Medicine and a member of Parliament, and from the Health Directorate, Dr. Abeer Abdel-Ghani Abdo, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Health in Dakahlia, and Dr. Mohamed Saad Nagy, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry in Dakahlia.
