The Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University announces the opening of applications for the position of “Director of the Central Laboratory” for the faculty members working in the college. Anyone who wishes to run for this position must submit his application to the office of Mrs. Prof./Dean of the College no later than Thursday, October 19. 2023.

Laboratory objectives:

• Research objectives

The central laboratory provides the latest scientific equipment and techniques for conducting the necessary experiments and analyzes for graduate students, faculty members, and researchers in various research sectors. The laboratory also aims to encourage progress for various research projects announced, whether in the Academy of Scientific Research, the graduate studies and research sector at the university, or at the international level. Considering that the laboratory represents the university’s share of contribution to these projects, which increases the chances of competition to obtain projects, whether at the national or international level.

• Educational objectives

This is done by conducting training courses on the theoretical and scientific foundations of the various devices, as well as the scientific and research fields to which the devices available in the laboratory can contribute, thus opening new horizons for scientific research. The laboratory is also available for undergraduate students to learn about devices and analysis methods, as well as training on the latest technologies.

• Service objectives

This is done by providing consultations and technical support to sectors of the local community, as well as providing studies on the environmental dimension of projects, especially studies on monitoring pollution levels of environmental elements, such as water, air, and soil, whether for heavy metals, pesticides, radiation, or microbial contamination. It is also a productive activity through tissue culture and biotechnology research to provide distinct plant and animal strains.
