Participation of clinical pharmacy diploma students in antimicrobial awareness activities

In the interest of the management of the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University, students participate in awareness activities and global events coinciding with the International Week for Awareness of the Use of Antibiotics by the World Health Organization Antibiotic Awareness Week

This is under the patronage of Mrs. Prof. Dr. Manal Eid - Dean of the College, Mr. Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Mrs. Assistant Professor Dr. Yousra Al-Far - Director of the PharmD Program and Supervisor of the Clinical Pharmacy and Clinical Nutrition Diplomas. 

 The students of the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma participated in the course on antimicrobial treatment under the supervision of the course teachers, Ms. Prof. Dr. Rasha Barwa – Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs and Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Qenawi– Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs presented a number of awareness posters on the safe use of antibiotics.

On the sidelines of the awareness activities for diploma students, the students attended a symposium “Together to fight antibiotic resistance.” Which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University. 

This is organized by the Scientific Association of the Egyptian Union of Faculty of Pharmacy Students – Mansoura University (EPSF).
