The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Committee is committed to participating in crisis management and providing occupational safety and health within the college and in the surrounding community, as well as providing distinguished services to the graduate to gain the satisfaction of labor market organizations.

First: - Participation in crisis management and solving problems that the surrounding community suffers from
 
Preparing a study to identify the types of societal problems:
 
Diseases: such as hepatitis, cancer, kidney failure
Bad practices such as addiction and smoking
Pollution: water and air (fertilizer factory exhaust - rice straw - exhaust)
Develop a plan of activities during the year based on the needs of the community, such as:
Seminars to raise awareness and contribute to solving some problems. These seminars require:
Announcing it well in advance of the deadline.
Define a working group to supervise them Define the lecturers.
Compilation of articles to make a seminar brochure.
Making brochures for the symposium.
Writing recommendations and publishing them on the college website.
Participation of students and faculty members in these seminars:-
Prepare some brochures and posters
Preparing some brochures and distributing them inside and outside the university campus
Preparing and distributing pamphlets to the surrounding civil society (Continuing Pharmaceutical Education Bulletins) Multiple pamphlets in English and Arabic
Preparing wall magazines with multiple environmental topics for awareness

Encouraging students through student families to participate in solving societal problems outside and inside the university walls, which leads to an increase in cohesion between the university’s faculties and the surrounding community (seminars - participation in the university’s environmental week - wall magazines - participation in medical convoys - training courses and human development - donation campaigns by blood)
  Cleaning campaigns and afforestation (placing baskets throughout the building - ornamental plants and planting beds in separate places)
 
Second: Contribute to providing occupational safety and health, securing the work environment, and protecting lives and property
 
A committee for occupational safety and health and follow-up on everything related to the safety of the building (following up on the validity and adequacy of fire extinguishers - reviewing the water networks needed for firefighting, reviewing the electricity connections)
Periodic reports submitted by technicians in laboratories as well as employees in administrative offices on the availability of safety and security elements
Organizing training courses on the civil defense program
Seminars and workshops (faculty members - teaching assistants - technicians - workers) on safety and security in laboratories
Guidance signs - alerts and warnings
Issuance of a guide to occupational safety and health
 
Third: Participation in increasing the college’s sources of income and financial resources through the development and development of services provided by units of a special nature
 
Reviewing the organizational structure of the units and clarifying the job descriptions for individuals
