On behalf of the department members, I am pleased and honored to welcome you to the department’s official page, where the website aims to introduce the department’s most important achievements, research plans and courses taught by the department to all students, hoping that the website will be a distinct means of communication that contributes to the development of the educational and research process and the rapprochement between faculty members, their assistants, and students. The department includes a distinguished elite of faculty members and their assistants. The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is one of the most important departments in the college that teaches undergraduate students (Clinical Pharmacy Program - Pharm D) and participate in developing their various skills, which include self-learning skills, holding seminars and participating in conferences. The department disseminates basic knowledge in microbiology, microbial genetics, immunology, parasitology, biotechnology, microbial diseases and how to treat and prevent their spread. At the level of graduate studies also, the department offers distinguished programs for obtaining diploma, master’s and doctoral degrees in pharmaceutical sciences (microbiology and immunology) in addition to advanced research programs aimed at preparing students to contribute to the application of the correct scientific method. The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is always keen to contribute with other departments in Graduating highly qualified pharmacists to keep pace with the continuous developments in the requirements of the labor market and who are able to compete locally, regionally and internationally. In addition, we look forward to building and developing research programs that help solve societal problems and improve the performance of pharmaceutical companies in quality control and production of pharmaceutical products.
